Could someone tell me how many images I should have on the banner of my home page?

I have heard that the customary amount is four. We have three right now, but could honestly add up to about 10. My home page is www.analysys.net – thanks!

Something smells like spam in here…
I’m not sure I completely understand your question here. Why would you want more than one image on your banner? Could you explain in more detail please?

Not spam. I am real. I have three images on the rotating banner at the top (customer service, 24×7, we are carbon neutral message) and I want to know what the maximum that average folks would consider as useful…
Thanks!
sorry, thought you were spam
Personally, I think 5 is the most you can do before any single slide loses it’s effectiveness.
Oooooh, sorry. I get it now. Yea, I’d say no more than 5. Because then it gets a little obnoxious, and not everyone may see all of them.
FYI, if you don’t want to be mistaken as spam don’t name yourself after a website and then immediately ask a question about it.
I find the animation on the transition between images very distracting when trying to read the actual content of the site.
J0E and Patg – also wanted to say thank you for your feedback about the message appearing as spam. Will be mindful in future posts. There are some folks involved with the site that are suggesting more, but I agree on the four or five… particularly four.
