Do you have a trait that other people would probably would find very odd?

You guys are going to think I’m nuts, but I can not STAND to wash my feet! I don’t use a wash cloth, and rubbing slippery, soapy hands on my feet gives me chills like fingernails on a chalk board!
(To mods. I kept it simple and used little words! :)

Why, of course not!
heh heh heh
i wring my hands when i get nervous. Or so im told (i dont notice).
I talk to my Teddies, still have to sleep with one and treat them like they are real with feelings…
Some still find it weird that I prefer making love to women rather then men.
Of course you can’t stand to wash your feet. That’d be awkward. Try sitting to wash your feet
I can’t listen to people sing in person. Its like nails on a chalk board. Or play music. So musicians are out of the question for me
Me? What do you mean? Is that a criticism? I have no idea what you’re talking about. Are you trying to put one over on me? I’m smarter than you think, pal. It’ll be a cold day in hell before you get me to crack. Motherfucker.
@ElleBee Um…are you talking about your lingerie????
@Sarcasm Oh! I get it! LOL! No pun intended!
@pinkpara Oh, man. American idol is a staple around here! Cuz of my husband. Personally I can take it or leave it.
@pdworkin ROFL!!!! Schizophrenia is not a TRAIT! It’s a DISEASE! Get HELP!
I count my steps when I walk.
Also try to chew evenly on both sides.
One M&M here, one M&M over there…
Shit, where to start? I have several, but I’m not disclosing them here. Check my autobiography in a few years.
^^ Zebra likes spiders. I find that weird.
@Val123 Haha! No no my Teddy Bears ^_^
I tend to be a little obsessive compulsive sometimes. If I touch or even brush an object with my hand that I think is dirty (a dish in the sink, a sock lying on the floor) I HAVE to wash my hands. I have attempted to ignore the urge but I feel like the germs are just spreading from my hand, all the way down my arm.
I’ve been told I hold eye contact with people too long as to be normal and comfortable and that I always have a smirk or cat-ate-mouse look on my face. The cool thing is when I meet someone else like me and then we have fun kooky flirting.
A lot! I have Tourette Syndrome. My tics include nose twitching, shoulder twitching, coughing, and this thing I can only describe as bringing my tongue up to the roof of my mouth while breathing in sharply through my cheeks, and breathing out through my rolled-up tongue to create a whistling sound. I also mumble the words I read quietly to myself as I read them. And I keep a death-grip on my pen while I’m writing, and hold it straight up and down (even though I’m a righty).
@Grisaille I like to chew evenly on both sides too! I didn’t know anyone else did that.
@chyna Spiders are beautiful and helpful. I spend much of my hiking time looking at webs, and will go ridiculously far out of my way to avoid hurting them. Huh, I guess you’re right, that is a weird trait.
While sitting on the toilet, I do not like to wear shoes.
@wildpotato Tourette’s doesn’t count. That’s not you being weird, that’s you having a neurological symptom.
@pdworkin See, I thought the question was about traits people find weird. Where in the definition of trait does it exclude neurological diseases? I guarantee, people do very much find all those things quite weird.
I have a terrible habit of “fiddling” with things, and while on the phone or thinking at my desk, I twist up metal paper clips and then break them apart. Very weird.
I get used to tics. I guess they are weird when you don’t know the person. I had never thought of Tourette’s as being a sign of weirdness.
I don’t believe in folding socks. It’s a waste of time, nobody looks at your socks, and most socks are white anyway.
I can speak in front of a large crowd but I do not like to be in the crowd…I get claustrophobic.
@chyna,I am the unofficial patron saint of spiders, so watch it. I’ll sic my eight legged minions on you.
I also raise Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches (I have about four hundred of the little darlings) and I love to take macro photographs of very small creatures, preferably those with more than four legs.
Ah, no Zebra. I’m your buddy. No spiders okay?
@Grisaille Huh! I do something similar. I’ll clench the left side of my jaw, then the right, when my legs are crossed, and when I clench on the left side I kick my right foot…we are odd!!
@wildpotato Ever sat on the front porch and watch a spider spin it’s web, night after night? We don’t have TV or cable here in Kansas, see.
@filmfann YOu said, “While sitting on the toilet, I do not like to wear shoes.” ROFL!! OK, that might be number one! (Oh no! no no no no NO!!!! I didn’t even think about it when I typed it, until I went back and read it!)
@emma193 I do that…somehow I think it focuses my concentration. Somehow.
@efritz X2!!!
@Psychedelic_Zebra Oh lord! OK, you get #1 prize! @filmfann you’re now #2. Sorry. But they both work for your little oddity, filmfann!
