Can I hook up a blu ray player to a standard tv?

What would the point of that be?

I suppose you could…but why? Go buy a nice HD TV instead, and boost the economy a bit.

If everyone spends their money we can’t possibly be poor right? Go buy a better tv first, but if you must go without, I’m sure there could be a way, or possibly not.

If the Blu-Ray has RCA out, there’s no reason why not. Or even Coax.

It really depends on the TV. What kind of connections does it have on the back?

My friend plays his xbox 360 on a shitty 12’ CRT tv, and it’s depressing to watch him squint at the single shade of gray when playing Gears of War.
