I have small sand-like piles on my floor...

i noticed this pile of ? that looks like reddish brown sand had appeared on my floor the other day. it was about the size of a quarter. i cleaned it up, but by the next morning a new pile was being formed in the same place! it’s been happening now for a few days. what is it? insect eggs of some kind? help! i’m freaked out!
