Can you suggest a cookie that would be most similar to the cookie in a Twix bar?

Asked by tinyfaery (44243points) November 1st, 2009 from iPhone

I really like the cookie in a Twix bar, but I don’t like the caramel and chocolate part. I bite the chocolate and caramel off of the cookie. The cookie isn’t very sweet and it’s really crunchy.

What do you think? Any suggestions as to which type of cookie I might try?

Most shortbread cookies I’ve tried are sweet. What type do you recommend?

I like Walkers but they are sweeter than what’s in a Twix bar. Not too sweet though. Maybe try lady fingers like @Tink1113 said? I think they’re less sweet.

@tinyfaery I like the chocolate and caramel part. Let’s get together?

I do the same. I have not encountered any shortbread that taste similar..they’re too buttery in my opinion. I wish twix would just sell the damn cookie. Although, I do enjoy peanut butter twix.

They used to sell Bisc & Twix over here, which was a large cookie with a little bit of chocolate and caramel, they were the best, but also 500 calories for a small cookie. I guess that’s why they stopped producing them.

Lorna Doone cookies (made by Nabisco) are shortbread cookies that aren’t too sweet.
