Do liquids (such as the wet nose of a dog) enhance smell?
I wondered this as I farted in the shower and it seemed so much more potent than at any other time. Do smells travel through liquids faster? How does it work?

Maybe it’s because you’re naked and your farts are unhindered by two layers of clothing.
Ok smartasses.. I’m actually curious about the science of smells and how they travel through liquids. My apologies for using a comical example.
Hey, I was trying to approach the details scientifically.
However I think there might be something to that. There’s some breeds of dog that slobber a lot which apparently helps them detect scent better.
Just throwing it out there: when I lick a salted pretzel it’s smell is much stronger than before I licked it… I love that smell.
The snot is running from my nose and dripping from my chin, and I can’t smell anything.
“When I farted in the shower, it was much more potent@
LOL! Thats fucking hilarious!
@XOIIO Well I’m glad somebody got something out of this question. XD
@gailcalled Thank for pointing that out. I can always rely on you for the things the built in spell check doesn’t catch.
Also, do you mind taking a look at this while you’ve got your grammatical game face on?
@How did you make the link do that? Re; Nook vs. nook, Barnes and Nobles can do whatever it wants. So can anyone who uses it as a trademark. Normally, it would be Nook only at the beginning of a sentence.
@gailcalled you type it out like this.
“link”-:yourlink.link
Put .com or .ca etc. And don’t include the ”-”
