Have you ever given something or achieved something which wasn't worth the amount of effort you put in?
For example, when i was about 12, I searched about eleven stores for the book for my friend’s birthday. When i ended up buying it, it was real expensive and double the price i had seen at other stores before i needed to buy it.
What about you? Or was it the opposite? Did you go to all the trouble and it was real simple and/or cheap?

Absolutely. Most of the (few) awards I’ve ever received were not worth the effort.
I competed for lots of college scholarships, particularly from academic competitions called “A-team” (Academic team). After four years of practicing and training and going to meets I made it to the national competition, and yet all the scholarships for all of that effort totaled to just about $5000. Not that I didn’t enjoy the experience and certainly $5000 isn’t insignificant for a scholarship, but compared to the copious amounts of financial aid that I got from my college just from getting accepted it seems like not at all the greatest payout for the amount of effort in.
I spent almost two years and a lot of money to try and make a Haunted Attraction I worked at the best around, only to have the owner cop a fucktard attitude and let me go, but keeping most of my stuff.
