Lurve to erichw1504 for reminding us it’s Sandwich Day. I am trying to figure out if this sandwich is local invention. I call it a funeral sandwich because we always have them at funeral receptions when I was a kid. Whole wheat, open-face with Cheez Whiz and three slices of green olive, sliced diagonally into triangles. Nobody here has heard of them. If you have eaten them, tell me where.
