Did you watch the TV series "V" as a kid? Did you catch the remake tonight?

I didn’t ever watch the old version, but I saw it tonight and thought it was really cool. I’ll definitely be tuning in next week.

I watched it, but I’m not sure if I am going to watch again. It had that whole “Heroes” vibe to me…. overly epic for the sake of ratings.

They got one “fact” wrong… the Vatican decided that it’s okay to believe in aliens more than a year ago.

I’m a huge fan of Alan Tudyk and Morena Baccarin. I am absolutely jazzed, even if that blonde chick from Lost has to be nearby too.

I watched it tonight, having heard about it yesterday – and I dug it.

@asmonet My husband has a crush on that blonde chick from Lost, but she just gets on my nerves. Anyone who can be that calm all the time has serious problems.

I enjoyed it. I like overly epic sometimes. :) Still, I wonder if I’ll like it when the nostalgic buzz wears off.

It won’t be on here for another 45 minutes, but I’m not going to watch it, yet. I can either see it “On Demand” or a re-run later. I watched the preview and it was boring.

Yes I saw the one tonight, They revealed way too much too soon. In the original one it was along time before you were shown the real purpose of the Visitors being here.

Oh my god!!!! You guys saw it??? Comcast blocked out ABC so I couldn’t watch it! I love the original miniseries! Alan Tudyk is in it too? I cannot wait to see it!

I used to watch it, but will skip the new version for now.
I remember just getting frustraited watching the old show. It moved Soooooo slow.

I’ve never seen the original, but I watched the pilot tonight. It was awesome! I can’t wait until next tuesday to see the next episode.

I watched the original “V” and thought it was okay, but as @filmfann says it was as slow as molasses in the winter. I saw the new pilot tonight and it was also okay. What I found most interesting was the way everyone’s face looked on screen. Frequently they looked so retouched as to almost seem to be really detailed computer animation. It was very weird.

As a kid V was some scary shit back then on tv (10 ish).

The new one seems good so far.

Ok after the First episode I was not Impressed.
However maybe the show will improve after they get all the drama story- lines up for us not to care about. Let’s just kill us some lizard men.!!!
