What message can I put in this Christmas Card?
So I’m sending a Christmas Card to a little boy in his last stages of a battle with cancer. He loves Christmas cards. He is 5 years old. What is a neat message I can put in there? I’m sure he’ll be happy with anything but I’d like to put something neat or funny in there.

What does the card look like?
I would buy him 3 cards, each one very different and different sizes, and get confetti to put inside a couple of them so it falls out and makes a mess for the nurses.
@rangerr It is a reindeer standing in the snow. Lots of glitter. There are tree ornaments hanging from the deers antlers, lol.
@RedPowerLady Kids love stickers and money…no matter what condition they’re in. Confetti is in every card I receive from my niece @JLeslie—-she LOVES it!
@RedPowerLady Use a colorful marker and large print. Kids like to be able to read their own name on their cards.
As to what you say? Maybe a cute poem you’ve written. My son likes rhymes.
Maybe enclose some reindeer food (a small baggy containing a mixture of oatmeal and glitter) with an explanation of how to leave it out for Santa’s reindeer. After all, he gets milk and cookies at every house. Shouldn’t the reindeer get something, too? There is a poem you can enclose if you wish.

I’m sending him a card too! I read about him and sobbed. I was thinking of writing something about how much he is loved. I don’t know what else, though.
@ubersiren Yay! It is hard to decide isn’t it? I hope it cheers him up a bit to get so many cards.
I would send him one card every few days with a either a collection of messages that make one sentence “I am really proud of you” or parts from a story so that he can look forward to the next one. I’d bombard him with them!
