Well, I saw there are all kind of Q&A web sites, but Fluther is the best one so far. So, why do you think it is?
I used to write in forums, but now I found a better way to ask, answer, learn and chat. I think I’m becoming Fluther addictive :-)

Great grammar and well thought out answers and questions.
The maturity of the membership.
Besides the fact that I’m a member? ;)
Because no matter how many times this question gets asked, we keep answering it.
Here is another interesting site, set-up by yet another nephew (by marriage only) of mine.
It is doing well, but note the lack of velvety interface and the differences:
http://www.soundofftoamerica.com/
I see your nephew has a lot of work to do: “404 www.soundofftoamerican.com" does not exist or could not be found. Unless this is a joke I don’t understand, in which case I feel horribly stupid.
Sorry wasn’t trying to be a smartass, I guess I need glasses because I would have never seen that in a million years.
I was going to write a long winded response and mention a myriad of Jellies by name and list all the ways they have contributed to the threads.. to making people’s lives better and on and on… but I’ll just boil it down to: The community itself. Quality people who open up and genuinely love to help.
The excellent and ever-vigilant moderators.
Diversity of questions and answerers and moderation.
I have learned more facts that I never knew I never knew or even ever wanted to know until I knew them.
(Try saying that 3 times quickly!)
the abundance of sexy monkeys.
I just enlarged your pic, you are definitely cute and sexy but what exactly do you have on your head?
@markyy: The link I provided works. But I find the site too busy, too cluttered and not nearly as interesting as fluther.
@eponymoushipster; You said some nasty things about Milo. He is taking the high ground and not fighting back (even though he is better looking than your monkey
@gailcalled Why is milo mad? I’ve never spoken ill of cats… quite the contrary! in fact.. i think they’re delicious with a raspberry chipotle BBQ sauce. :)
@Dr_C; Not you but that monkey in the sock made a very unkind remark to him several days ago. Milo has a long memory, although I myself am quick to forgive.
@Grisaille please just let this train of thought die… please.
@Allie and a closing parentheses.
So.. anyone got any raspberry chipotle BBQ sauce? I’m starting to get a little hungry.
heeeeeere milo milo milo
@Dr_C you eat that cat, and you’ll be hungry again in 30 minutes.
@Allie and the fact that im not in a sock.
It’s the only Q&A site that has an AstroChuck.
And AstroChuck is not only cute and engaging, he is also humble and modest!
Damn right. No one is more modest than yours truly.
You!
And you, and you, and you…
And you too, L’il Chuckie! Especially you.
It’s the perfect antidote to boredom, kindness of members to newbies, and I’ve learned so many things I would not have ever known how to look up
the best one was airow, but unfortunately it went down.
It is by no means a perfect place, however. I mean, they let me post all kinds of nonsense!
@daloon: Now that you are in the big house, you are supposed to be a sterling example and leader of men, or so I am told. xox Milo
Cranky Old Man Gus says: meh. Hogwash!
Cranky Old Man Gus is a cranky old man who lives near me, comes by and uses my computer and my fluther account. because apparently we can have multiple personalities. so mine’s a cranky old person.

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. I think there are many features that make it superior to Q&A sites I have used in the past but no single thing has made it the best, far better than the others but it has its limitation. The better parts are:
• Very diligent moderators.
• Lack of frivolous tagging of answers and questions.
• Not over run with silly teenage “do X love me?” and “How do I make my crush love me” type of questions.
• More space to add text to make your point (but that can go too ways as well I guess)
• You can easily follow the answers and questions from a single activity page as oppose to navigating buttons and links.
• Most of the time the Fluthers pay attention when they are not hung up on my maxim.
• Less bickering and insulting unless they find way to notice my maxim.
• You have code where you can add emphasis etc to your text.
• You can send someone a private msg. instead if in the open forum.
• Better grammar and spelling and not all that “CraZy HI-sKooL KraP” text
The parts where improvements
• .Adding graphics like the Old AB to add texture and meaning to your answer or question that you just can’t do with words.
• Levels or awards, (if you are going to have them), that has some rhyme or reason.
• Maybe a few more question opportunities each day.
But @Hypocrisy_Central,
How do I make my crush love me? :o)
Sorry, but it had to be done! :o)
To me, I have used Fluther for about 1 week, I received 49 rewards, which makes me stay motivated to use more. I also learn a lot about grammar, new words. I think my writting is better when joining here with all of you. If i have some mistakes, I hope that all of you will help me to correct them. I think that I will learn from this more than I thought.
It is better than Facebook, I think.:)
