What is a PSP console?

I want to buy a PSP 3000 console and I want to know what items come with it when I buy it. Please tell me if I need to buy a battery charger for it or can I use the AC adapter for it? Does an AC adapter come with it when you buy the console? Also if I want to play it on a standard tv what cables do I need for it to connect it? I heard that you can also play UMD movies on it where do you get these and what do they look like and how much do they cost in Australia?

It comes with a battery charger/ac adapter. You’re gonna need some composite cables if you want to attach it to your PSP.

UMD movies are dying out, sadly. I’m not entirely sure how much UMD movies cost in Australia – I highly recommend a visit to your nearby game store to check out the prices.

P.S. This is a UMD. It is the standard format for movies and games on the PlayStation Portable console. However, the PSP Go, a new, Digital Distribution-only unit is now available.
