Has anyone seen the new movie The Fourth Kind, and what do you think about alien abductions?
Do you believe that people are getting abducted and put back, are the aliens far more developed than us? Is Dr Abigail Tylers story true or false? Should we be worried or not?

I think we should leave the poor aliens alone.
I have no idea what to believe because I like to have hard evidence of whatever I’m considering. The evidence they showed is quite compelling, but is it true/real? Who can say. All I know is that it takes some balls to believe that earth is the only planet with life on it in the entire universe.
No, not much, no, no, no and no.
That movie is a shameful scarefest that trivializes many well-documented incidents that happened to real people and caused real trauma.
(Note: that is not to say that “real abductions” are really abductions by extra-planetary entitites- they might be psychological, or sleep paralysis, or misinterpreted religious acts; but to those who experience them, they are, in whatever form, real, and its that validity of experience from which any discussion needs to start.)
yeah i was disturbed by the “real footage” and i was wondering if it happened as they say
@sophillyk “The Fourth Kind” actually did one of the poorest jobs in the history of viral marketing when promoting the movie. They released a couple of press releases that were easily fact-checked as coming from non-existent sources, they registered their fake websites last month, and they decided to spoof on a municipality that is tiny, with a bureaucracy that knows what all its appendages are.
Even Blair Witch did a better job claiming to be “real footage”.
There is no credible evidence to suggest that alien abductions are occurring.
Considering the vastness of the galaxy let alone the universe, the odds of one technologically advanced species encountering a another technologically advanced species are infinitesimal.
