I hate to tell you this, (well not really, I quite enjoy it on a certain level) but this site is not some sort of interactive Google. We are normal people with a normal range of knowledge on various subjects. Super specific technical questions such as “When I press button X on my Y machine while jumping on one leg after midnight…why does the little red light turn green?” are better suited for websites centered on…you guessed it, electronic doo-dads. Try the manufacturer’s site, or google the exact model name (apparently it’s called the “Kyocera Lingo”). I’ll help you with this one:
Kyocera lingo, googled and you can also try manufacturer’s website

Of course this is my opinion only, I am not a moderator, in fact I have no authority in any way to dictate how other people use this site. Good Luck!

I’m sorry for my abrasive manner. I’ll try to be more cognizant of my tone when replying to people.

About your question, have you looked in the manual? It would be quite sloppy of the manufacturer to leave out info on one of the phone’s features.

Here are the answers to your questions:

Time Pause causes the phone to stop dialing for 2 seconds.

Hard Pause causes the phone to stop dialing the phone until you select “Release” while making the call.
