have you ever heard the rattle of tags or heard the clicking of paws after losing a pet? stepped over a cat on the stairs when you no longer have a cat?

I lost my horse last December, and I keep her stall empty.
Occasionally when I’m working with the other horses I can still hear her kicking her walls to get my attention.

The dog I grew up with died a while ago but I still think sometimes I hear him barking. I have his collar and his smell is still on it after all these years (that, I hope, is real at least).

Yes, she is a regular visitor.

@DrBill what do you see/hear?

Cocker Spaniel, who died in my arms, has been a constant companion for over 20 years. she sleeps on the foot of the bed. I can feel her jump on the bed, turn circles, plop down, etc

She will bark in the middle of the night if someone walks through the yard.

What an interesting question. No, I never even considered the possibility.

twice .it depends how close you are to the pet. my dog and cat. they say if the bond is strong they can sense each other. My cat died because they game him the shot of death, but no one told me and in class I felt sad and a very big chill. i later found out he died. later on ( a week) later i saw him looking at me. (outside) i ran outside to see him. but he wasn’t there. but later that night he was on the bed with my dead dog. all my memories of their death left me. i forgot they were dead. i started to pet both. and took my nap. and when i woke up i ask were they went . she said that they died two months ago. very creepy. all the memories almost came back at one time. my mother told me it was a dream. but i know it was real. i haven’t seen them since then. but other things have happened. weird things. STAY AWAY FROM Ouiji BOARDS !!!

@DrBill I have felt the cat jumping on the bed, walking across the bed. I hear that little chirping noise cats make. while folding wash I have seen her out of the corner of my eye.

I’ve seen my black cat Monkey on my bed before in the place where he used to sleep.

Then I realize it’s just a black shirt lying in a heap on the bed. But for a split second there, it really looked like my cat; it’s one of those things where I have to do a double take.

So, no, I haven’t had any paranormal experiences, but that was my favorite cat and the memory of him is strong. I saw his paw-prints on his old litterbox this summer. Made me sad :(

We had a wonderful German Shepard. He was a bit of a tennis ball nut and lived a long happy life. After he passed on more than one occasion a tennis ball would randomly bounce into the living room as we were all in there. Because we had not gotten any other pets we knew it was him. We never figured out where the balls came from either.

I had a puppy that slept in my room and when she was asleep she would always make a wierd, but cute, snoring sound and I still hear it sometimes when I miss her the most. It’s been two months since she died but I still haven’t gotten over the fact that she’s gone. :(
