What can I do so my iPod won't fall on the ground and my earphones won't fall out of my ears or get tangled when I am listening to music at night till I wake up in the morning?

get the wrap around your ear headphones and one of the jogging armbands and use them in bed.

The only thing I can think of is duct tape. ;)

Or, if possible, get yourself some 2.1 speakers you can setup on your headboard so you can still here it at a low level. I think earphone cables will always get tangled or fall out. Good luck!

you should get wireless earphones for the night… aren’t you scared they’ll get wrapped around your neck or something if you move during the night? maybe i’m just paranoid….

Purchase a pillow speaker.

@mclaugh: Headphones alone are extremely unlikely to become homicidal after hours, they may need additional help.

Maybe consider getting a portable iPod dock so you don’t have to sleep with wires.
Sleeping with earbuds and music playing all night can’t be good for your hearing.

I only put one of my earphones on and put my iPod and the other earphone under my pillow. And I doesn’t get tangled.

@The_Compassionate_Heretic – has the answer I use. I bought an iPod dock, it has a timer on it so I can set it to play for an hour or whatever and then shut itself off. I have it sitting on the nightstand beside my bed and I play it at low volume right by my ear. It works great and has an alarm clock as well.

Only disadvantage is that the iPod I use is a nano so the movies are sideways on the screen and the dock holds the iPod upright. But since I am lying down as I watch, it is not a big problem or I just put the dock on its side, then the picture is right.

Get some cheap speakers. You’re lucky, you have an ipod, so they’re available everywhere.
