Is there such a thing as a 16GB 3rd Generation iPod Touch?
I am on the future shop website and the only iPod Touches that they have are:
-16 and 32 GB 2nd Generation
8, 32, and 64 GB 3rd Generation
I want to buy a 16 GB 3rd Generation iPod Touch, not a 8 or 32 GB. Is it just that future shop dosent have any in stock, or has apple not made a 16GB 3rd gen yet?

Yes, it’s called the 16GB 3rd Generation iPod Touch.
EDIT: Sorry for the snotty remark, I looked and I think you’re right, there isn’t a 16GB model.
no there isn’t. and there wont be.
the 32 is the same price as the 16 used to be… perhaps you have a “thing” with the number 16?
@patq7590 is correct.
As a matter of fact, if you visit the iPod touch web pages, you’ll see there are different technical specs for the 8 GB model than for the 32/64 GB models.
That’s because the 8 GB is the older 2nd generation iPod touch.
And there’s no 16 GB even offered (nor was there one ever).
I think that going to the Apple website is your best bet for getting Apple products. They ship promptly, and always have everything in stock. Futureshop’s been having some weird issues with stock too, that’s coming from an employee.
I’m not the employee, I was talking to one.
@patg7590 no, not really. I dont have a “thing” with the # 16, I just wanted a 16GB bvecause I assumed if theres a 8 and a 32GB I want the middle due to price. Since there’s no 16GB I guess I’ll buy the 32GB 3rd gen..
CLARIFICATION: There’s never been a 16 GB third gen iPod touch model offered. There used to be 16GB first and second gen iPod touches… but those are no longer offered as new retail items by Apple.
@robmandu thanks, I will have to buy a 32GB now, even though its probably going to be more expensive and unneccessary for me than a 16GB… I really don’t need all of those GB.
The 32 costs the same as the 16 used to cost.
@patg7590 Okay, good. I guess thats kind of a good deal then. I’m sorry, I just saw that you already said that at the top of the page..
no prob bob. see ya around. I have to get my cake out of the frizzer
