Just got the beta version, and am wondering how some of you have applied it, and with what results. This is exciting. It’s kind of like playing in The Future!

I haven’t used it yet but it’s supposedly generally like a chatroom for business with a whole lot of instantaneous abilities to collaborate between lots of people. I’d generally use it for group projects.
Lifehacker posted examples of different ways people could use Google Wave.
I think I’m primarily going to use it as a chatroom/message board hybrid for family and friends, but I need them to give me some invites to give out before I can do that.
I’m also looking forward to using it as a chatroom and message board for my family.
In my head, I’ve replaced the chorus of Three Mile Pilot’s Glitter Wave with Google Wave. If someone at Google were smart, they’d be on the horn to someone about getting some rights!
I use it mostly for school and collaboration. It’s real handy!
I just got my invite yesterday and I haven’t played with it too much yet. It’s rather boring without anyone to use it with, so I’m waiting for people that I’ve invited to come and do the Wave with me!
