Do you know any good home buying books?

I’m interested in looking toward purchasing a house soon.. Im wondering if anyone knows of any good books to read on buying your first house? I’d love for this book to be straight forward and would tell all routes availiable for the first tiem buyer. Also, I was watching tv late the other night and saw an infomercial about “grants” for housing from the government. I know that infomercials often stretch the truth and have a way with words to lure you into buiying their product. But I just wonder do “grants ” for house purchases actually exist? and if so where would one start to find out whats availiable?
