Which side of the brain determines in which direction you stir things?

I ask because I was told today that I stir my coffee in the wrong direction! I stir anti-clockwise and everyone else at work does it in a clockwise direction!
I think this may also have a bearing on which way you write the figure eight because my bother has told me that I write that in the wrong direction too.

I stir both ways. So I guess I’m only wrong half the time.
I stir everything clockwise. Just feels more natural I guess…
I was trying to picture myself cooking and I know that I stir both ways and constantly switch between the two. I think I always start with counterclockwise, though.
But there’s no “wrong” direction. The Earth spins counterclockwise, you know.
Would this be the same area of the brain that determines if you are skateboard/surfboard goofy foot?
Follows question.
@dog I think that that would be ascertained by whether you are either left or right footed!
I always stir with my right hand!
Ahhh but I am ambidextrous.
Perhaps it does not have any correlation to stirring coffee/
@Dog I too can write with both hands (and for that matter shoot) but why has it been pointed out to me that I draw my figure 8’s and my circles back to front and then to top it off i stir in an anticlockwise direction!?!?
I’m ambidextrous as well…
and no matter which hand does the stirring it’s usually counterclockwise. Very interesting!
I stir all around back and forth, never really in one direction or another, guess im a Free Style Stirrer!
@Mat74UK If by Freak you mean different then im ok with that ;)
@OutOfTheBlue That my friend is what I’m trying to determine! I may well be the freak you may be just a joe.
