My boobs are itching a lot recently, why?

Dry skin? Have you started using a new soap, new laundry detergent, or recently bought some new bras? If something like that has changed, it could be irritating your skin.

Try using a mild, unscented lotion after each shower. Avoid soap on the itchy areas. For the lotion, go with something like Aveeno or Eucerin.

Speaking of Aveeno, the bath powder you soak in is very effective. If these measures don’t help, or you develop any other symptoms like a rash, talk to your doctor.

If you suspect it could be an allergic reaction to something, or you start to get hives, take some benedryl and use a process of elimination to figure out what caused it.

Maybe all of the detergent didn’t wash out of your bra? That’s my first (and best) guess. Since it’s just your boobs, I would assume it’s something with your bra.

I had the same problem a while ago, and it did end up being my bra. I was miserable, but I bought a new one, and I didn’t have the problem.

I don’t know.. but let me check them personally and I’ll certainly figure out.

I’d say dry skin or chemical things, either your soap, lotion or laundry detergent. Hypo-allergenic products are very good to use when you think you might be getting allergic reactions.

This happens to me sometimes, even though I only use hypo-allergenic products (I have pretty much the most sensitive skin ever). I attributed it to the very dry weather at the time and made sure to use a lot of lotion. It went away eventually, but it was pretty annoying while it was happening.

There’s a saying that if your palm itches, it means you’ve got money coming your way.

Um, not sure how it applies here, though.

@robmandu I’ve heard that if your right palm itches then you’ll be receiving some money, but if your left palm itches that you’ll be paying it out.

I heard that if your brain itches, your thinking, if your chin itches, your contemplating and if your ass itches, please don’t scratch it in public.
