Is there a simple way to merge a Facebook "friend" page with a "fan" page?

For book promotion, I have a Fan page, but I use the Friend page for the same purpose, so it seems redundant to have both. I prefer the Fan page because with that, each friend request doesn’t have to be individually approved. Can I merge the two, or do the “friend” have to become “fans?” Thanks!

You can only be a fan of a fanpage not a friend. Vice versa. You can merge them information from your friend page by copy and pasting onto the fan page, or even a group page if you’d rather that than both.
But there is no way to automatically transfer the info.
