Is there a program similar to Final Cut Pro but for Windows?

I’m following a video workshop and we’re at the part where we learn how to loop videos. The teacher used the program Final Cut Pro on his mac to show us how to edit a video so that the video would go into a loop. I googled the program and came across that it’s for Mac only but I want a program like that but I have Windows. So is there a program similar to Final Cut Pro but for Windows?

If you are a student and you are eligible for Adobe education discount then you might consider Premier Pro. If you can’t get it at the student discount then its going to be expensive (hell, its expensive even after with the discount).

Otherwise there is Premier Pro elements which is aimed at the scaled down “home” version but is still pretty good.

There is also Sony Vegas which again comes in pro and consumer versions, as well as a load of stuff aimed at fixing up home videos from the likes of Roxio and Nero.

If you are opposed to spending any money then theres Window Movie maker.

After effects is not really for video editing but rather post production effects
