What is the Formula for Kinetic Energy, And Potential Energy?

I know it is something like Ke=½ · M² or something like that, could you please tell me the exact formula, and the potential one as well, (Gravity).
Please if you could provide a Example

Ke = ½mv²
Kp = mgh
And Ep at top = Ek at bottom.
So if you throw a ball up from the ground when it gets to the top of the arc it stops for a split second and all the energy is gravitational potential, then it starts moving again and the Ep becomes less, the Ek becomes greater til at the bottom all the energy is kinetic energy and there is no gravitation potential energy.
Correction: Ke = ½ · m · v ²
@bvdshec17 I’m just studying for a physics exam right now so I have it in front of me :)
Keep in mind that (½)mv^2 is only the translational kinetic energy. There are other forms of kinetic energy. Rotational, for example.
