Safari Image Mouse Overs

my school has entered the FIRST robotics competition and we have made a site (pacerobotics.com) if you navigate deeper we have some fancy secondary bars (pacerobotics.com/goals) but in safari the mousovers seem to blink like wild, and they are underlined, is there any way to fix this?

I did FIRST 8 years ago… good luck with your robot. Your buttons (Georgia, Lego, Keynote) look correct on my Safari (Safari 3.0.4 on OS X Leopard)... no flickering or underlining.
