Good songs for a child audience? Especially ones that have to do with keeping promises, telling the truth or dealing with a bully?

Working on music and sound for another play (about a talking dog who helps a schoolgirl who is teased because she lost her father)... one for audiences age 5 and up this time. What are some good songs I can use? Here’s what I have so far:
Jingle Bells (the dog barking song)
Who Let the Dogs Out
School Bus Driver (The Stop Song)- Daddy a Go-Go
Fathers and Daugthers- Paul Simon
Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard- Paul Simon
Milk and Cereal- G Love and Special Sauce
I Wanna Be a Dog- Barry Louis Polisar
Hey Little Doggy- Dave and Tawnda/Koolsongs
Sandwiches (are Beautiful)- Bob King?
Best Friend- Lisa Loeb
The Climb- Miley Cyrus
Let’s Get Crazy- Hannah Montana
Friday Night- The Darkness
Burnin’ Up- The Jonas Brothers
Wonder Pets theme (the phone is ringing)
I was thinking about adding a kids version of “Boom Boom Pow” since it seems like every kid on the planet likes that one.

Try Raffi’s CDs – don’t remember specfic songs but he is great for kids.
You’ve got a friend. – James Taylor.
Chicken Payback. – The Bees.
Ben. – Michael Jackson.
How much is that doggie in the window. – Patti Page.
Make New Friends, the standard Girl Scout song, works for a lot of cases. It can be sung as a round, getting cast members to join in one by one for a nice finale.
There are also a lot of traditional songs that have been used again and again in kids’ shows like “Barney”. Some of these have hand gestures that you can get the audience to do so they get more involved in the action on stage.
@Darwin reminds me that there was another sappy song we used to sing in Girl Scouts “Whenever You Make a Promise.” It is sappy but it does fit your theme, kevbo.
@janbb im SO HAPPY SOMEONE SUGGESTED RAFFI!!!!!!!!!!
Please, @kevbo, i beg of you, find a way to incorporate Raffi’s “Banana Phone” into this play. It is one of the best songs ever made.

Be Kind To Your Web Footed Friends
Be kind to your web-footed friends
For a duck may be somebody’s mother
Who lives all alone in a swamp
Where it’s very cold and damp
You might think that this is the end
Well it’s not caus’ I know another stanza
Be kind to your web-footed friends
For that cop may be Dick Tracy’s brother
Who lives all alone on the beat
On a dark and dingy street
You might think that this is the end
Well, Why not!
Nobody Likes Me, Everybody Hates Me
Nobody likes me, everybody hates me
I’m going to the garden to eat worms (yum, yum)
Big fat juicy ones, long skinny, slimy ones
Itsy, bitsy, fuzzy wuzzy worms.
First one was easy, the second one was squeezy,
The third one got caught in my throat (choke, choke)
Big fat juicy ones, long skinny, slimy ones.
Itsy, bitsy, fuzzy wuzzy worms. (Yum, yum)
Uuuup came the first one, uuup came the second one
uuuup came the third little worm
Big fat juicy ones, long skinny slimy ones.
Itsy, bitsy, fuzzy wuzzy worms. (Yum, yum)
Yeah but track 12 is about honesty. That was the song I was referring to. I guess I should have mentioned both.
