What are some potentially lucrative things I can trade on ebay and elsewhere?

Anyone know what types of collectibles can be effectively studied and traded on ebay and other places? I’m thinking coins, maybe fine art, autographs? What else? I know a guy that buys, refurbishes, and sells very expensive guitars and makes a nice living doing so. Ideas? Or ideas on how to identify these sort of niches?

Autographs and art are fields for experts. It is thought that in order to become an expert, you must spend approximately ten thousand hours working in that field. Just sayin’.
People never think of the little things. Old Glass you hhave…Silver..any Gold. China—You can buy local storages for 50 bucks and i have found true Treasures! My 2nd one, there was a Jewelry Box, and it was full..I wish I knew the Persons reason for letting the Storage go..The proceeds were over $1000
I sell video games after my hubby is done with them and TV DVD series sets after we have watched them. It isn’t really “money making” because we get lest than we paid new, but at least we get some of our money back. BBC TV goes for GREAT prices.
Some people buy old books, carefully cut out the beautiful pictures and sell them as “prints.” I bought some beautiful pictures this way, but when I got them I felt bad for the books! I didn’t realize they were book pages when I bought them.
Not my stuff so much. I’m interested in things I can buy/sell that I find on ebay or thrift stores.
@pallen123 Pay attention to what pd said: Autographs and art are fields for experts. It is thought that in order to become an expert, you must spend approximately ten thousand hours working in that field. Like most anything else in life, you gotta know whatcha doin’.
My son and his wife apparently do quite well with RPG cards. They buy and sell on a regular basis, and seem to always come out ahead.
My MIL sells homemade jewelry on Etsy, and the word of mouth business has nearly paid her rent some months for people who love her stuff, and tell their friends and relatives about it.
