Monkey bars, I think. GA for topics.

Monkey bars? They seem a little bit low to be monkey bars to me… but then, maybe they just looked a lot taller when I was a wee girl :)

Kids go from one rung to the other with their hands.

It’s awfully short for monkey bars. It was by the high school baseball field, so I thought it might have something to do with that… maybe.

And the rungs are toddler spaced.

I think it might be some kind of weird balance beam. My boyfriend is thinking “it might be just something they climb on.”

And actually the “legs” aren’t straight. The ones furthest away are angled. Hmm… very strange indeed.

Maybe it’s not finished yet? My city put up metal sculptures a few years ago. One of them looked like it might be bleachers -we all wondered when it would be finished!

Sort of looks like a “safety” balance bar, with the rungs to catch steps that miss.

It’s a child grater; as the child is propelled along the instrument, handy strips of flesh are sliced from his body.

It looks like something to walk across to increase one’s sense of balance. Reminds me of a short suspension bridge.

It doesn’t look like something to play on. I’d have to see pictures from different angles, but I wouldn’t let my kid on whatever the heck that is. Is it to hold a sign or something?

Some sort of torture device? Would go along with what @ratboy suggested.

Kind of looks like a more complicated support for one of these.

My friend Jarome says it’s for football players to use during practice. They practice under it and it’s to help them learn to stay low.
