Is there a way of checking how much internet/bandwidth certain iphone applications use?

I have downloaded several applications for my iphone but while running the applications, I wonder how much internet it is using up. I only get X amount of MB use each month and would hate to chew it up in a short period of time using an internet hungry app.

I recently purchased ootunes – radio and while streaming a radio station on iphone, I became concerned that it may be chewing up excessive amounts of internet.

Does anyone know how to check how much is being used or does anyone know the averages with applications (or specifically ootunes)?
