How do guys feel about girls who make the first move?
My friend has been interested in a certain guy friend of mine for quite sometime, I told her to just ask him out but she’s afraid that she’ll seem to eager and forward and he’ll never talk to her again. Personally I see nothing wrong with a girl asking a guy out, I’ve done it myself. I can see why she’d be afraid of being rejected, but still I think she should at least try. What is your take on it? Guys, what do you think about being asked out for a change?

Relieved. If girls didn’t make the first move sometimes, I would still be a virgin.
That’s great. A woman who’s independent enough to do that and confident enough to do that is something special.
I am a girl, and I always make the first move. As a result, I have experience in dating/sex.
Some of my best friends sit around complaining that they don’t have boyfriends but are terrified to make any sort of move. When they finally meet guys who will pursue them, they will have no experience because they are scared to make it happen.
In short, go for it:)
I love it. It’s amazing, takes pressure of us guys.
My most exciting nights are the ones where I make the first move. The guys seem to love it.
Depends on which part she moves, and how she moves it.
I was thinking of asking my wife out, but she asked me out first.
:D
It’s a bit unexpected when a girl makes the move, although in a very good way.
:P
It’s great. Girls who think guys should always make the first move are just shoving off the responsibility (he said hypocritically).
I’m with @sliceswiththings. If I had never made the first move, I would have missed out on dating some great people!
I love it.
If a girl’s expecting me to make the first move, well, last time I did that, it was about 6 months after it was obvious to everyone that we both liked eachother.
I’m not a huge fan of all the social standards we’ve had in place for so long.
There’s nothing guys like more (other than the obvious) than a woman with confidence, and to be able to go up to someone and show her interest is a bold move that will be soooper appreciated. win-win situation in my book!
We don’t always have the time or patience to wait around for the man to make a move so we do it. I see nothing wrong with it. Most guys think it’s sexy ;)
I ducksat (yes) at a house that had the following item on the bookshelf. I love it, and I think it is an inspiration to all forward women.
It is a scrap of paper in a frame. The paper says, “I don’t usually do this. [Phone number]-Debbie.” That scrap of paper led to a marriage with two kids and four ducks:)
So don’t throw away those scraps of paper!
@sliceswiththings Ok ,the fact that you ducksat is hilarious. But the part about them being married and still having that scrap piece of paper…so cute!
First thing that pops into my head is : “Yippie!”
No manimal with half a brain is going to care who asks who first. My wife asked first too.. and we’ve been married over 10 years so far.
We like them, because we are natually lazy.
