I'm looking for a specific type of shirt, online, for under $20. Can you give me some suggestions where I could find such a beast?

I need some shirts for work, and although I was originally going to go polo, I’m not a big fan of that shirt style. A button down would be easier for me because then I could wear a t-shirt during school, then throw on the button down and go to work.
I would like to purchase some black, collared, stretchy button-down shirts. I would like something like this, but in black, of course. (They are only available in XL, darn it!)
Is it possible to find reasonable quality shirts like this, or am I having a pipe dream?

Ebay often has a large source of items and has fantastic search engines for narrowing down exactly what you are looking for and within a particular price range.
I’m a great fan of thrift stores. Your site gave me medium in black.
Try Land’s End online. They’re definitely high quality, and, as far as I remember, the prices aren’t awful at all.
@TitsMcGhee, I might do that, but they are a bit more than I was wanting to spend (on sale for $26.70). I need 4 or 5 of these shirts, which is why I was wanting them to be under $20.
@faye Obviously that site likes you more than me. :P
@Rachienz, although ebay would be a great idea, I would like several shirts at once. Otherwise, shipping will kill me!
@PandoraBoxx, thank you very much!
In related questions, does anyone have experience with Forever 21’s shirts? I know they aren’t the greatest quality, but they are not hideously expensive. Will they last me a year or more, do you think?
My daughter loves Forever 21. I would buy as size larger, as their clothing often shrinks.
Depending how often you launder the stuff, you should get about 20–25 washing out of a shirt.
QVC has one for $17.93 that comes in XS, S and M.
There is also a cheaper one at this site.
And there is this one. You might be able to order some samples so you won’t have to buy 24 of them.
@evegrimm You probably can find shirts like that at Forever 21, for maybe 20 to 30 bucks, but they will only last you about a year at most. Their stuff isn’t bad, but it doesn’t really hold up to wear and tear.
I agree with @faye that you should go to thrift stores. I always find awesome stuff there!
Are you going to be working at this place for a while? Do you just want 1 shirt; will you wear it more than once a week?
I think the real question you want to ask yourself is if you want to spend <$20 on a shirt that’s going to not last you through all those washes and normal/ constant wear or >$20 that is of higher quality…
The fabric on the <$20 might cause you to actually spend more money in the end…
Also check out Marshall’s, Kohl’s, TJ Maxx, and Target.
@avvooooooo, thank you for those links!
@Haleth, they actually have some “boring” blouses for around $12—$15, which was why I was wondering about quality. For that price, I can buy 5 shirts for much less than from another place.
@Darwin, I might end up with some basic cotton/spandex blouses from Target. Thanks!
