I bought an album on my iphone, but I also want it on my ipod touch. considering my computer is broken, the only way I can get songs is to get them directly onto my ipod. can I click buy on the album on my ipod as well, without being charged again for music I already have?
thanks(:

in theory, you “own” the album in iTunes eyes. and you can share that album with up to 5 devices.
You need to add another computer (one that works) to your list of shared computers in your iTunes account. Then you can upload all your files from your iPhone to that computer, and then download them onto your iPod Touch.
If you just buy a song in iTunes, you will be charged for it.
Why do you need an iPhone and iPod?

@XOIIO if you have a LOT of music, the largest iphone wont hold it all, not even considering photos and apps. so some people have an iphone for the apps, and a few tunes, and an ipod for their music in general.
iphone tops out at 32gb. the touch at 64gb. the “classic” is 160gb.
Nope, there’s a 116 gig iPhone now.
My mistake thats one I heard they will be releasing.
@XOIIO “tops out” being the key phrase.
i’m assuming 116 is a typo for 16. if not, SMH.
SMH?
No, I heard they’d be releasing a 116 gig iPhone.

as for a 116gb iphone – please. they’d jump over the largest ipod touch by nearly double? right. and since when do they offer a weird size increments? 8, 16, 32, 64, 160 – not 82.53gb. please.
