Does anyone know where I can find an older macbook/MacBook pro (no older than 2006 model) for under $600?

I’m sure you could find an older Macbook for cheaper than that, especially a first generation. They were first introduced in 2006, the year before were the iBooks and Powerbooks.

Craigslist would be a good place to start, or you could try an online Mac outlet.

Thanks johnpowell! Now I’m gonna look to see if somewhere there’s a desktop that is slightly cheaper…if that’s possible

Just make sure you avoid ones that don’t have a Intel chip. Snow Leopard won’t run on PowerPC chips.
