I’m graduating high school in 6 months and I’m taking courses in university involving politics, international relations etc. I have a big desire to both travel and help others positively. I know of a few jobs (medical, politican, aid worker etc) but i’m looking for more options. I’m not too concerned about pay or ‘danger’. I want to know about options that I might not have known about.

Be a Peace Corp volunteer and see if you’re cut out for a career like that. I’m sure many have moved on with the experience they accrued from the Peace Corp to find an occupation that suited their desire to help others while getting paid for it.
you could teach english as a second language anywhere in the world.
@AstroChuck Is there a Canadian equivalent to the peace corp?
@deni Becoming a high school english teacher is high up on my list of possible career choices
Travel consultant
international event planner
You could become a missionary if you are an active Christian.
Some alternatives to the Peace Corps if you hail from yon land of Canadia:

That was just a quick search, there may be more.
International Public Health
Travel Nurse
There is a huge demand for English teachers in other countries. You can go almost anywhere that English is not the primary language to find a job teaching English.
Become a librarian. I have been to Europe once, the UK three times, Canada once, the US many times, in the pursuit of my profession (of course, this may have more to do with the fact that I live on a small island state than with librarianship).
@bea2345 I have been to Europe once, the UK three times..
I see you share the sentiments of the Limeys.:p
@bea2345 How did being a librarian allow you to travel? (Sounds interesting)
@naivete – because there are a great many opportunities for overseas training: grants provided by, e.g., the International Federation of LIbrary Associations (IFLA), Unesco, UNDP, several governments (yours included); check out your state library association. At any given time there are short courses, seminars and the like in the more esoteric skills, such as the management of official documents (mine was in Geneva, 1979). Some of my former colleagues (I am retired) have just returned from overseas conferences and training: one such was in Beijing.
You can do MBA with tourism.
You could work for the UN or become a missionary to a foreign place.
