Is there a limit on the amount of questions one user can ask on Fluther?

I mean like Facebook has a limitation, you can have a maximum of 5000 friends only, does also Fluther has some limitations and if anyone comes to that limit, he can not perform more operations? What are they?
Does any website have maximum value for every action user can do? How much it is important to have this limits?

As far as I know there is only a limit of questions you can ask in any one day, or as it’s the World Wide Web maybe we should say any 24 hour period.
Agree with @RareDenver – it’s my understainding that one can ask up to 3 questions a day, no total maximum.
@janbb- I believe you can ask more than three in a day. I think that limit applies to only a few hours, but I’m not certain.
Probably I should have asked about limits on web site as general…
why do you say ”only” with 5000 friends?? I don’t think I know that many people, period!!
@ccrow I’m pretty sure that many people know me, but me know that many people? not likely, I’m so vain, I probably think this song is about me, don’t I, I’m sooo vain
I know one celebrity that has 3 different Facebook accounts with 4999 friends each. He could not approve more so every time he comes to that limit he opens another account.
@Ranimi23 well then they should just have a page for their ‘friends’ and then set up a fan page
I didn’t know Facebook only let you have 5000 friends. I have a friend in Florida who’s more than half-way there. He has over 2600.
But yeah, you can only ask 3 questions a day here and you can only add up to 100 people to your “Fluther”.
@DominicX Only 100 people?
Isn’t it a very low limit?
@DominicX- I have more than 100 people in my fluther.
So I’m waiting on something to finish crunching numbers before I can verify this but I believe the limit on your fluther is 150 (I’m guessing it was chosen based on Dunbar’s number) and that it’s 3 questions per 12 hours.
Sounds about right to me.
@AstroChuck You must have a “special” account. My fluther won’t let me add more than 100. If I want to add new ones, I have to eliminate old ones. There is also a limit on how much lurve you can give any one person, and on how much lurve people can receive on any one question.
@YARNLADY: I counted 127 people in your Fluther.
I have 138 in mine, and that seems to be the limit for me, since I have to remove people in order to add new people now too.
Does it vary for different people? 127 and 138 seem like such odd numbers.
@petethepothead do you know the definition of an odd number? Only one of those is an odd number….... I hope I’m right, cos I’m really drunk and ill…. my mind is mush
@RareDenver: I thought of how “odd” might not be the best word choice, since an “odd number” wasn’t the term I was going for right before I hit Answer, but I figured people would know what I meant.
Perhaps a better choice might have been “arbitrary,” or “desultory” or “aberrant.” You’d expect the limit to be a nice round number like 100, or at least a multiple of 25. The numbers that I counted in my Fluther, and @YARNLADY‘s fluther (both of which are full) seem so random.
t’m betting that 150 is likely the limit. My guess is that @petethepothead had 12 others in his fluther that have since had their account removed.
@petethepothead I was only being a facetious little drunken twat anyway so…. no worries as they say, just ignore me, trust me, everyone else does ;-)
Hmmm… 150 it means that I can’t follow more than 150 friends questions ans answers?
What about all the question I’m fallowing. What if I will follow every single question, probably can’t be :-)
