You know, those movies you… I grew up with. Everything’s made out of wooden puppets and done in stop motion. They did Peter Cottontail, the story of St. Nick, and then another christmas movie with the little elf who wants to be a dentist (the rudolph movie). There’s usually that old snowman as the narrator…?

They are called Rankin-Bass movies. The two guys who created them were named Jules Bass and Arthur Rankin Jr.
Here is a list of all of the movies that they produced.
<3 Thank you very much. My sister and I were going to relive our childhood a bit and watch all of them this christmas, but didn’t know what to look for.
I’m with @ubersiren; those things are beyond frightening! Rudolph scares me to this very day, and I’m 20 years old.
what?! aw, i loved them growing up. peter cottontail was my favorite.
It’s some combination of the look and the movement that really creeps me out.
Ack! I remember those. Good thing we only got three stations back then or I would never have watched them.
