What can I do with dried roses that I want to keep intact?

I have two dozen roses from my ex/current best friend.
One set is hanging upside down from my ceiling with a spot light shining on them, making the flowers and the shadows an art piece.
The other set dried standing up in the vase, and I’ve left them there for the past two years and they still look amazing.
But I’m going to be redecorating and want to do something with them so I can keep them and display them without having to break the petals apart or something.
So.. how can I do this?

Are they long stem or short? Assuming the former, this article from Suite 1010 suggests this along with its other nifty ideas:
“For large bundles of flowers like wheat stalks, avena or bromus I cover the bunch of flower heads with a small plastic bag from the grocery and use a twist tie to secure the bag. I don’t worry about covering the stalk/stem part. You can place multiple bundles of stalk type flowers lengthwise in a large box with a lid. Store in a cool, dry place when not using.”
Maybe a nice deep glass frame? You can arrange the flowers however you want in it, and they will look more like they are floating away from your wall. Also prevents more dust from accumulating…
Or you could make a cool structure with them (soften the stems only), but this requires a lot of care and patience.
I was going to suggest, similarly to @lamedb, to do a shadow box. You can probably find one online to fit the dimensions. Good luck- sounds pretty!
you can also take the flowers and make cards or decorate a notebook and just laminate them (or use clear tape, depending on the size… just remember that the edges of the tape will show).
@lamedb @ubersiren What exactly is a shadow box? Will it keep them safe if I have to transport them? I feel dumb right now.
A shadow box provides the room to store and display photos and dimensional memorabilia.
take a gander at this:

It should be pretty easy to find this in a art supplies chain store (Deserres, Michaels,...). Mabe you could try the framing department, but there could be some that are pre-made. If you’ve got time, go to ehow or instructables and make one.
Good luck!
Ohh, that’s really neat. I don’t think I’ve seen one before….weird.
That’s perfect. Thank you!
