Is it easy? Do they care or check?

Well I would be going out with my friends and they are all 21. If I went all the way to vegas and couldn’t do anything, then I’d be bored.
I want to know if people have experience with this.
You better use counterfeit money and steal chips while you’re there too, because if you’re going to commit fraud you might as well go the whole nine yards.
My friend tried it in Vegas. Didn’t work. Wasn’t arrested or anything, the ID wasn’t even confiscated, but the lady just said “I can’t accept this” and we walked away.
So of course you can try it, but the place we went to didn’t work. It’s more likely to work at a small place, like a small liquor store. (We were at a grocery store trying to buy alcohol). Trying to get into one of the casinos or whatever, I have no idea. Just make sure they don’t have a black light scanner, because that’s how they can tell it’s a fake right away.
I’m gonna guess no. Most places use scanners these days.
Not every place still uses a scanner, but a casino is a lot more likely to than, say, a dive bar. You can probably still get into a lot of places that just have a doorman. There are a lot of other things to do in Las Vegas than just gamble like tear up the hotel room Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas style.
I think the word “fake” is already enough to put people off. Just wait until you’re old enough or something.
Naw, they’re pretty lackadaisical when it comes to security. I mean, it’s not like they have any cameras up recording your every move…
I’ll be less than 3 months from 21, and I pass for 21 on a regular basis here in nashville.
So, no one has any actual experience in this situation?
@jackm No. No experience. I never used a fake ID. I waited until I was of age to go out to bars and casinos. Take the risk if you’re willing. Let us know how that goes for you.
If you win a sizable jackpot it could pose a problem…
