Use as little plastic as you possibly can.
Carry a waterbottle with you everywhere.
Carry a sewing kit.
Learn a few tricks just to entertain children when need be.
Apologize and be gracious.
Give people the benefit of the doubt.
Always make an effort to look nice because you don’t know when you’ll run in to an ex.
Try to learn something new every day and make a point of writing it down before bed.
Never, ever, ever take yourself too seriously.
Call your mother.

Tell those you love that you love them, every day.
Smile at strangers.

Be positive. Thinking about the negative will stop you from taking action, but thinking about the possibilities will create action.

Always wash your hands before eating and touching your face.

Count your calories.

Always say ‘I love you’ to those you love. You never know if it’ll be the last time you see them.

Don’t be in such a hurry, always give yourself time to smell the roses.

as my grandfather said to my mom once “whenever you crave for something to eat, go ahead and have it, look at me now, I can’t do it anymore and I wish I had…”

The steps have always been simple. It’s our slow-to-implement way of thinking that gets us in trouble.

With the exceptions of a car and a house, don’t buy anything on credit.
Alcohol is not your friend. Moderation!
Keep the same sleeping hours every day.

Never take shit from your inhibitions.
Find something harmless you don’t dare to do, then make a habit of doing it anyway.
Get in the shower while the water’s still cold. Throw out spiders. Google for photos taken from high buildings, make one your desktop for a while.

Work out. Your body is quite possibly the most amazing system in the known universe, and you’ll be using it a lot. Condition it so that you can use it to its full potential.

Offer your help to random strangers if you think they need any.
Be patient with grumpy people, they’ve probably had a rough day.

Donate money to charity.
Help other people donate money to charity. Click all six buttons on Click To Give every day. Play Free Rice every day.

Think about the environment before you print, or accept a plastic bag you don’t need, or leave the lights on or let the water run for no reason.

Get a working understanding of science. Read popular science books, watch documentaries.
I recommend Carl Sagan’s Cosmos series, even if it’s a few decades out of date.

Learn about logical fallacies. Learn why they’re wrong, and learn to recognise them when someone tries to use one on you.

Find something you love to do, then put effort into becoming really good at it. You might be able to make a career out of it later.
