1. I have a very small bachelor apartment
2. I would like to use some kind of exercise equipment while watching TV
3. The equipment must be small and/or fold-able and hide-able
3. I can’t stand doing exercises on giant balls
4. Yoga & Pilates equipment is not of interest in this case
I would ideally like a treadmill but it has to be fold-up-able and hide-able (does this exist?). I would also consider things like a rowing machine, bike, or any other kind of repetitive machine that causes you to lose weight.

Puppy. Phew, so sore from chasing him around.
Also lifting him is good physical therapy for my wrist.
@ringaroundtherosie I’m sorta looking for something like this too- do you have to hang onto something with this mini stair stepper? how do you not fall off?
@trailsillustrated I tried mine today without shoes and I had to hold onto my dresser or I would have fallen on my ass. If you have good shoes on you don’t need to hold onto anything. I love mine. It really works the legs!
@trailsillustrated It worked for me. I could really feel a difference after two weeks of use (4–5 days each week). Of course it always help to vary your routine, but the mini stepper helped when I didn’t have time for other activities.
did you lose any weight? what sort of exercise do you do?
@trailsillustrated
I lost about 10 pounds. I’m usually pretty fit but I slack off during the winter and gain an extra 10–15lbs. I do a combination of kickbox aerobics, mini stepper and hiking to keep in shape. (when I’m not lazy) ;)
It’s really hard to do cardio on small machines. Buy New Balance shoes and winter running gear and go for a run.
Have you thought about joining a gym? If that’s not possible, you could just get one of the previously mentioned treadmills and a room divider/curtain to hide it. Personally, I just do traditional exercises like push-ups and lift weights, since it is a lot cheaper than real equipment.
bands, a few weights and a Pilate’s ball.
Sex. The equipment is already occupying space in your flat.
You can get a bike trainer to convert a regular bike into a stationary bike for the winter. It’s a small frame that supports the back wheel, and a roller for the front wheel. What I would do if I were you is even more simple- step aerobics. I hate exercise videos, so I’d either make up my own exercises or rent a video and just watch it once. Then write up a chart telling you what to do at minute 0, 5, 10, etc, that is big enough for you to read from across your living room, and hang it up behind your tv. Put up a big digital clock next to it.
@trailsillustrated: Walking only works if you get your heart rate elevated. If you’re going to walk instead of run, choose the hilly part of town.
hey you should try the gazzel it gave me good results and its fold able just a word of addvice
