What’s something "evil" you’ve done?

one exmaple…
Ever been driving down the road and see a simple grocery bag in the road, and then decided, “Hey, why not? It’s just a bag, I’ll run over it.” Well think again. One weekend out of the month a few years ago I would take large rocks (15–25 lbs) and place them into grocery bags – place them in the road..
I felt that I was making a point – your decisions have consequences and that things are not always what they seem to be..
I screwed up a lot of vehicles this way, but I’ve never seen anyone on my road run over another grocery bag.
Is this evil?
What makes it evil or not evil?
Are evil actions justifiable?

I don’t think it was evil, but highly dangerous and really really stupid…
@Xilas Are you trying to say you are evil? I’m not sure what you are getting at..
Evil? No. First off, “evil” is not an easy word to define. But the way I define it, an action with malicious intent, a desire to hurt or damage other people or life, I have not done anything like that. I have very few regrets in my lifetime.
Now, there are things I’ve done that other people might call evil. I’m sure the religious fanatics think I’m evil for being involved with another boy. I’m sure there are those that consider my underage drinking evil as well.
@DominicX GA. I can’t put my definition of “evil” into words.
spray innocent ants and spiders with nearby household aerosols. writhe on my little spiny-legged interloper. gag and puke in your own fluids. curl up in a ball and grope for that last gasp of air. poor little bugger.
I wouldn’t say evil
I once told everyone I possibly could that my ex friend was an informant for the police (he was) in hopes that someone would kick his ass for using my boyfriend and I and of course, screwing people over to save his own ass. (He would try to bum money, rides, stay at our house for days. when i finally told him i couldn’t put up with it anymore, he spread a rumor that my fiance was sleeping with one of my friends and made him look like a shitty guy to everyone – he even called my parents and told them that so they would hate him)
… this happened a few years ago when I was trying to make enough miles to get a ticket to hell and have a nice sit next to some well know dictators…
My best friend and I used to go to this cooffee/wine/cigar/book bar (well, not actually a bar) to drink, smoke and read, it was in an open space, well, sort of… Someone was giving ballons away and 3 very chubby girls, between 10 and 15 were getting the ballons and sitting on them blowing up the ballons, and I hate that sound… After like 10 ballons I had enough, I was going crazy, so these 3 girls get the last ballon, one sits on it… nothing happened, the second one sits on it… nothing happened, the third one sits and nothing happened!!! they start to make more pressure to blow out the ballon and that’s when I decided to help, I took my cigar, peacefully walked towards the girls and PUM! the noise was so loud everyone looked back… girls on the floor and me, in front of the girls with a big smile… I told them “that’s how you do it!” and got back to my wine, everybody there laughed, the fat girls crying and me… smoking that was a very fun night!
No but my car was damaged this way and I am not tracing @Xilas‘s IP address. Thanks.
when i was a child my older brothers would buy purses from the thrift store and fill them up with fire ants, dead animals, live snakes or animal poop and put the purse in the road, every purse they did this too was picked up by someone that would stop their car and run out and grab it. it was funny. speaking about myself, i really didn’t do much that could be called evil. when i was a teenager a woman opened her truck door into my car really hard, she jumped out saying “i didn’t do anything” and then went into the store. i keyed her truck really deep, i almost broke my car key. i wouldn’t do that now, now i have more control. now i would wait until she came out of the store and run her down with my car…
I don’t understand what lesson you’re trying to teach with that garbage bag rock trick. I mean, what do you think we should do when we see a garbage back in the road? Get out and bring it to the gutter? Swerve to avoid it? Neither of these are safe ideas, really: when you’re driving you really ought to keep driving unless a life is at stake, and these are inanimate objects we’re talking about, not life-forms: why do you think it’s so important that we don’t run over a garbage bag? I think that’s really a terrible thing to do… the accidents you could have caused, injuries and death!! And destruction of personal property, of course.
I don’t know if it’s evil or not, though. I guess if you weren’t doing it to hurt people specifically, it might not be evil. (Like the difference between manslaughter and murder.) But it’s incredibly foolish and dangerous.
Anyway, the evil I’ve done is when I was a young teenager I kind of terrorized my pets and kids I babysat. I never hurt them physically but I’d tease them too much, or do things I knew scared or upset them. I don’t know why I did this… testing boundaries? Tension relief? Whatever the reason I don’t defend it and I feel terribly about it. I’d never behave that way now, I don’t even have the desire to.
I blew up Megaton on Fallout 3.
Srly though I am not evil in real life. Don’t let my name fool you.
@nicobanks if youll notice one of the tags .. “ignorance”
@Xilas I don’t get the significance of that tag. What do you mean by it?
..look, he said that’s what he was into ok..
Kidding….evil is not my style….wicked maybe, not evil
I broke up with an Ex on valentine’s day.
The only thing I have ever done that I consider to be “evil,” was that I once deliberately and intentionally voted for a Republican.
This is my very first day here (from Answerbag) and my very first question to answer. I hope I’m doing this right.
@MENSAN me too (first day, here from AB), I think there’s many of us since The Great Asswipery that is the new AB format
There was this one kid who I watched drown. I didn’t like him, so I let him die. What makes that really evil, I think, is that when I remember it, I can’t help but think how funny it was.
@Talimze haha you are evil.. if “hell” is real ill see you there…
@ALL this isnt BY FAR the most fukt up thing ive ever done.. this is the lightest act of deviance i’d say
I think doing something to hurt someone intentionally doesn’t make you evil, but it is wrong. I know I’m guilty of it. I don’t like to talk about my short comings though (who does?!)
I stole a $3000 laptop 10 years ago.
as long as you didn’t steal it from someone you know..
@Xilas And that makes it better because….?
@casheroo
stealing from your own friend Vs. Walmart
think about it…
“Robin hood theoretics”
and dont get me started on walmart either…
I’m not the same person I used to be, but I’ve never made any secret of my flaws, though I’m harmless these days. Back in 86, this chick kept doing everything in her power to get my boyfriend’s attention, and was doing a pretty good job of it! My bf was a DJ in Atlanta’s hottest night club, and the place was always PACKED.Covered by the crowd, I went up behind her and lit her hair on fire. Thankfully, my absolute STUPIDITY was snuffed out before the poor girl could get permanently hurt. She lost the back of her hair, though, which was what I wanted. Unbelievably fucking evil, if you ask me. Would YOU be friends with someone who did that? I wouldn’t!
@phillis Ah, youth… thank God for growing up!
@Xilas Stealing from your friend is cheaper on the entire population. When you steal from Walmart, they don’t eat the cost, they pass it on the me the consumer. Just don’t steal anything.
@nicobanks, I never looked at it that way before. I guess I really did have a lot of growing up to do. I was…..let’s see…....20 years old at that time. Plus, I was packed away in an all girls private school for over three years with zilch interractions socially or with males, which would put me at the social age of 17. Hmmm…..maybe I was being a little bit hard on myself. Still, there are lots of 17 year olds who do not light people’s hair on fire. I had some problems.
@phillis Clearly you did have some problems, but a lot of people have problems; no not everyone’s lead them to lighting girls’ hair on fire but part of that does have to do with plain ol’ circumstance/opportunity. And I really do think inexperience/immaturity plays a huge role too. I made a fool of myself so many times, sometimes with pretty destructive/harmful results, but what can I do? I was so young, and to be honest I think I wasn’t given the direction or guidance I should’ve been. Sounds like maybe you weren’t, either. We can’t go around blaming our parents/guardians for our own actions but maybe we can go a little easier on ourselves, and recognize the circumstances that led to us being that way as well as the distance we’ve gone since. That’s what I try to do anyway.
Stunning reply, nicobanks. GA! I had a self-destructive streak a mile wide. And no, I didn’t EVER have any guidance. Everything I learned, I taught myself. I had a lot of guardian angels along the way, but by far, the work was done mostly by me, as it rightfully needed to be. It took me FOREVER to learn what it looks like when someone respects you (as my bf did not respect me, he needed to be the one I discussed it with, not her). I had a lot of growing to do in a very short period of time, but I did brilliantly, comparatively speaking.
@phillis Thank you, and congratulations! :)
Thank you very much! I loved your contributions.
