Who introduced you to fluther or where did you find the website?

I was actually just looking up stuff about jellyfish and stumbled across Fluther.

Lucky me!

Hi Kewlguy! I’m here for the same reason you are probably. I’m still going to watch AB though and see if the staff responds to some of our feedback.

Friends of mine from Answerbag told me about this website, and said that they were coming over here, so I decided to blindly follow them. This is my first day here, and this is my second question to answer. I’m still learning how things work over here and apologize in advance, should I make a lot of errors, which I am sure I will.

I have absolutely no idea how I found my way here.

I came here during the Great Wis.dm Mass Migration of 2009. Wis.dm was a Q&A site like this one that closed down and this was recommended as an alternative. Found about wis.dm through another Q&A site. Found out about that site from an ad on Urbandictionary.

They made a gorgeous iPhone app and I got hooked (and apparently loved enough that people wanted me to stick around.) I don’t regret it for an instant.

I was doing research for a college paper and I ran across it during a Google search.

I was looking for a website to ask and answer questions and, after checking out probably all of them I decided to register at Fluther. I found it on Wakoopa, a social media software recommendation engine.

I ran across it on a site that listed QnA sites which I was looking at (can’t remember what it was called, I found that through Google) because I was looking for a good QnA site.

There was a thread about Fluther and sites like it (HA! As if there really is any such) on Ask MetaFilter.

I found it becuase someone on AB today was complaining and talking about Fluther!

I was on the Google looking something up and I was directed here. I am so glad that I found Fluther. It is one of my greatest lurves!!

Earlier today, while getting frustrated at not being able to navigate AB as easily as I once did, I read a question on that site that had something about fluther.com in it…I packed my Bag and came on over!

I saw it in a question on AB and decided to check it out…glad I did :)

I heard about it on AB when they decided to disregard everything the users wanted and made their page a clone of face book. If I wanted to be on face book, I’d be on face book. GEEZE!

AB made a rather HUGE mistake and PISSED many ABers off. So here we are! In a sense it was a good thing!

I put up a question on Answerbag telling others that We were moving and asked if they wanted to come and join the party!!!!

I’m pretty sure than any of you who has been on AB since 2004 knows me, especially if you’ve been in the Computer section there within the last couple of years.

Saw the name on a answer on AB the other day, and Cotton left me a message earlier today on the new message feature on AB.

I got totally disgusted at Askville and the Mayor, and followed other Askvillers here.

I heard everyone was coming here and you know what i can not blame them. AB really screwed up.
