NYCB and it's new season?

What do you think of NYCB dropping many of the Balanchine pieces they are famous for in favor of story ballets more like ABT does? Is it just for the money? To get people into the ballet to see Swan Lake (a recognizable name to non ballet lovers) instead of Apollo?
