What do you usually eat in a day?
I try to eat decently, I just want to see what other people eat in a day as well.
I have cereal with milk for breakfast, lunch—> a sandwich with ham, tomato, cheese and bread included and also an apple. For supper, some rice, some kind of meat and vegetables to go with it. A banana later on.
For drinks, I have milk 3–4 times a day, and maybe about 1 bottle of water a day. Possibly random snacks throughout the day.
What did you eat today? or what do you usually eat in a day?

I often alternate between days when I do eat and days when I don’t.
For instance, I did not eat anything today. Yesterday, however, I had three different types of fast food. This is part of the reason why I have never been nor ever will be in shape.
Breakfast: A bowl of oatmeal (brown sugar and strawberries) with a granola bar.
Lunch: Two sandwiches (turkey, mayo, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, sometimes cheese) with a glass of juice.
Snack: I try to eat an apple or something. I also try to drink some tea later in the day, or a glass of milk. I also eat cookies and stuff throughout the day.
Dinner: I usually eat some sort of meat-based food and either a salad or something starchy on the side.
I should probably eat twice as much, though.
For breakfast: Coffee, hot tea and dry multigrain toast.
For lunch: Sometimes nothing, but usually a small sandwich or soup and iced tea.
For dinner: 8 oz. steak, medium rare, Caesar’s salad, baked potato (loaded), sour dough biscuits, and refried beans followed by apple, cherry or peach cobbler. Iced green tea.
Today I had a bagel for breakfast, a banana for a snack, a bowl of soup at lunch and chicken and rice with vegetables for dinner. I have several days like that during the week.
Today I had:
Breakfast: A bowl of curry flavoured noodles.
Usually I have a bowl of cereal, typically Grape Nuts
Lunch: Fried egg sandwich and a cup of tea.
Usually it’s either a sandwich (BLT, bacon, ham, egg, salad, cheese, or banana), pizza or noodles
Dinner: Trout, salad, potato wedges; followed by a packet of salt & vinegar crisps.
There is no usually as I like it varied.
Supper: Deciding that now between a banana sandwich or a bowl of cereal…
Usually a bowl of cereal, sandwich or noodles.
I tend to have a bottle of water over the course of the day and cups of tea and/or coffee.
Lots of junk I don’t need and none of this stuff builds muscle anyway.
I haven’t ever been much of a breakfast eater, but I do drink hot tea throughout the morning. Lunch can either be a granola bar, fruit, or maybe a frozen Lean Cuisine type meal, and then dinner is some kind of meat, a vegetable and/or salad, sometimes a potato with it.
It varies so much for me it would be impossible to sum it up. I don’t have strict rules on when I eat what. I’ll eat cereal any time of day, I don’t mind eating yesterdays leftovers for breakfast. I don’t crave sweet in the morning, I am more likely to eat a white omelet or something that might be considered lunch food. For lunch and/or dinner I eat everything from steak with salad, to pasta, stir fry, fish, chicken. I don’t eat veal.
There is already a similarity between this and answerbag. Stupid questions.
@evandad You don’t need to read and/or post on questions you don’t like. Just stick to the ones you do like. You can’t please all of the people all of the time :)
nothing, i eat once every 3days or so.
Coffee, cereal, banana, salad, brown rice and steamed veggies, grapefruit, 5 almonds and lots of water.
@evandad, well, i guess stupid answers too then. *cough cough
Breakfast is usually coffee and scrambled eggs, grapefruit/other fruit. Sometimes a little bacon but I dab off the grease.
For lunch, it’s usually soup or sandwich and a diet drink. Usually try to have a side of some meat product.
Snacks…fruit or a protein bar.
Dinner…usually some protein dish and not much else.
I eat a lot of protein.
Food, food, and more food;-)
I will have pizza pretty much everyday if I’m given the chance. I love it better than sex. Of course that’s probably because I can get pizza..
God and I thought I was bored.
Too much.
That’s why I float so well.
I pretty much eat everything in sight, except stuff with sugar in it, or bread, rice, and potatoes. That leaves fruit, veg and protein and I really do eat a lot of that.
Breakfast is a couple of fruits with sliced almonds, low fat yoghurt, skim milk and a handful of bran.
No mid morning snack
Lunch is usually tuna or left overs from the night before. Salad with everything in the fridge tossed in.
Afternoon snack usually fruit and cottage cheese, sometimes veg and hommos.
Dinner is veg and meat or fish or beans. I must admit once or twice a week we do have potatoes or rice. If we have dessert, it is fruit with a little yoghurt or ricotta.
I usually have one sprite zero a day and lots of ice water.
Works well, I even stick to it when I am in town although I might have a sandwich at lunch and I ALWAYS have cold rock cookies n cream ice cream at least once!
I eat a lot of fruit and veggies, a little starch, and a little protein. Unfortunately, this wreaks havoc on my insides.
@wildpotato- Fruit only angers my need for chocolate. I’m afraid I’m addicted to chocolate. I used to snort cocoa.
@wildpotato – what do you mean it wreaks havoc on your insides?
What don’t I eat would be the shorter list!
Today, no lie, I ate:
2 croissants , 2 cups of coffee cream/sugar, A big mac, large fry, half a large Dr. Pepper.
2 slices of Angel food cake
½ slice of to die for chocolate cake
A 3 musketeers candy bar.
Some Peppered Beef Jerky
Jeebus, just reading this list has made ME sick to my stomach!
This, thankfully, wasn’t a typical day.
That would be
Oatmeal, coffee
Sandwich or just some cheese and crackers.
A piece of fruit
A yogurt
And some veggies and rice for dinner.
Either not enough or far too much. I never get it right.
Some ham a meatloaf and rice
@rooeytoo I’m not supposed to eat fruits or vegetables. Doctor’s orders. Background. I started giving myself a little break from the no-produce diet a few weeks ago, and have since found the pull of things like apples, oranges, and bananas to be irresistible. But since I’m in pain again, I suppose that what this really means is that I should cut them out once more and adjust my vitamin intake so I don’t crave wonderful foods like parsnips and beets and melon and peanuts. Blah. People, don’t take your ability to eat fresh produce for granted!
Oat meal coffee toast, sandwich soup, spaghetti, garlic bread ,salad.tea.cookies.ok i wrecked my diet.
@wildpotato – wow, I never heard of such a thing, doctor’s orders are usually the opposite. That is really a hard diet! Sorry, hope you are better soon.
Breakfast—usually coffee (with milk and sugar). Sometimes something else, but not often.
Lunch—maybe something, if I remember. Usually yogurt and some fruit, or half a sandwich.
Dinner—leftovers or fresh veggies cooked (like spinach with garlic, or beets with garlic, or carrot soup with garlic). Sometimes the other half of my sandwich from lunch.
Snack—toast or dark chocolate; sometimes a bowl of cereal.
I often stay up very late, so I eat late, too. I know some people say it’s bad to eat after 7 or 8p, but if I’m up until 2 or 3a, what should I do? Starve?
During the day, I sometimes drink milk (often with chocolate or coffee syrup). I also drink mugicha (barley iced tea) and sometimes hot tea, depending on my mood.
For breakfast: two sandwiches with peanut butter and two cups of coffee
For lunch: two sandwiches with peanut butter or a tosti
snack: apple and a coffee
For dinner: usually vegetarian pasta or potatoes from the oven
dessert: fruit
During the day I drink lots and lots of green tea
cereal for breakky, sandwich for lunch, and usually meat and veg for dinner. the of course, there’s the couple cups of coffee in between ;)
I eat alot of noodles. mac & cheese and other lil cheap things for lunch when its just me. I am also a big steak lover so I have lots of that too, but when alone anything easy will do. When I have the kids or company I like to make many different dishes for lunch or dinner. Some chicken, pork, or beef with noodles or rice for a side, and a vegetable. Me and the children will eat just about anything so we change it up alot.
