I often bite my finger nails, just when I have some. However, I like to keep my hands in a cozy-warm place during the winter and prefer not to pull them out.
My legs. If I’m sitting down, good luck trying to stop them.
It’s all in the hands. I bite my nails and crack my knuckles.
I bite the inside of my cheek. all the time
Scratching up my knuckles with my fingernails. :/
I shoot. It’s a glock 17, 9 mil. with silver bullets, btw.
Several.
Repeatedly checking my watch when I don’t even need to know the time; biting my nails (although I’ve pretty much stopped this now); smoking; continuously checking the fridge;rubbing my nose, or other facial area; and laughing are all things I do when feeling nervous, on edge or I’ve just drank too much coffee.
I’m a beard stroker and facial hair twister.
I blink more when I’m really tired.
I spin my phone on tables, in my hand, and I spin pens around my thumb…
I count to 4 on the fingers of one hand, then start over, until I am back where I started from then I start over again.
I also mentally type the alphabet on a keyboard in my head.
Do you think these are indicative of some deep psychological problem???
Twirling my hair, yawning, chewing on my nails, talking way too fast, and shaking my legs.
Also, if my facial hair is long enough then I’ll chew on it.
i shake my legs, play with my cell phone, play with my hair and cut my fingernails if they are long enough to get the clippers under them…
I cross one leg over the other and swing my foot. If I’m standing I tap one foot on the other.
My legs shake, I touch my nose and face, and I have a nervous laugh that follows things I say if I’m not sure what I said was taken the wrong way or not, teehee…
I clean like crazy when I am nervous or upset.
The mains ones are I bite my fingernails, I touch my chin and face, and if I’m wearing a sweatshirt, I twirl the hood string. Also, as someone mentioned, I check the time constantly even if the time isn’t important.
Bite my tongue and the inside of my cheek.
@MountainMomma, you can come over anytime. Just tell me how to make you nervous.
Chain-smoker, nail-biter, twitchy legs.
@Zen_Again: I shoot also. Hammerli 152 at 50m and Barrett M82 at 1000 yds.
@Zen_Again: I carry a G30, more punch but fewer rounds than the G17.
Sometimes I’ll start tapping my fingers on the desk, or start blinking my eyes a lot.
@chelseababyy “I bite my bottom lip.” can I get a little more description on that? In most cases I’d consider that hot, ;)
For @stranger_in_a_strange_land and others who might like to know: after you post a comment, you have about ten minutes to edit it or add to it. As long as ‘Edit this response’ shows in red below and to the right of your post, you can make changes. I have a lot of afterthoughts (and I like to fix my typos), so I use this feature all the time.
When we make major changes, especially after someone has responded to us or GA’d us, we usually indicate ”[Edit]” so others will know it was changed after posting.
Yep…pretty much everything that’s been mentioned in these answers…except for chain-smoking and beer drinking. ;D
I always cross my arms when I’m nervous, and I bite my lip.
Fidgety, easier to distract when agitated, and smoke like a chimney
