Are there any men out there who prefer woman with very short hair?

I have to say that I don’t, I would go as far as to say that it’s off putting. I only wish I could articulate a good reason as to why that is the case.

I’m really curious about the answers. My ex said the same about missing my long hair when I cut it short, but he couldn’t articulate why.

How about a lady who prefers women? Honestly, I think that a short, cute cut on a woman is very sexy. No short at the side and mullet for me, though, thanks.

I do prefer a woman with longer hair, though and gorgeous curly auburn locks is the bees knees.

I don’t have a preference for short hair myself, but I’ve come across people who do.

i don’t mind short hair, or even no hair, but as far as saying prefer i would have to say no. the reason is simple, girls hair smells great.

the reason most guys probably don’t like it or even have a problem with it at times is because female pheromones come from female hair. mix that with the fact that a lot of people have problems with homosexual stigma and that short hair is normally a male thing and you can kind of see why some would not like it.

I’ll be honest. I’ve seen a woman with hair to her feet. Gorgeous. To her waist. To her shoulders. Short. Short-short. Baldy sour. Bald. All gorgeous. I’m not saying there are no ugly women. Only that I’ve seen at least one woman worth dying for from each of the above.

I’m not a man, but I can tell you that when I met my husband I had short hair and then I let it grow while we were dating. It was long when we got engaged and married and then a bad perm fried it and I had it cut off. I kept it short for most of our married life. At first he said he liked it longer. Now he says he likes it short better and I have let it grow again. aaggghh!! I think some women just look better in short and some better in long and if you’re looking your best then that’s going to be attractive to men.

I love my long hair :) Hair is such a precious thing to a girl (sometimes even guys too) it says alot about your personality I think.
I’ve also noticed that guys like pulling it during sex lol. My ex said it was like a handle for some reason lol. That could be why alot of girls like long hair czuse guys pull it while having fun. Or just because long hair is naturally goregous :)
And I have never yet met a guy that perfered long hair on a girl…

At least for me, I think you are correct about the female scent and long hair.

I’m not a man, but I think women can look great with all lengths of hair and it really depends on the individual woman’s face which length suits her best. I don’t know – is long hair inherently sexier? I think Amelia Earhart ws one hot babe and part of it was her androgenous bob.

Great point. Perhaps it can be said that gorgeous, long hair can make an average woman look more attractive, but shorter hair doesn’t tend to make an average looking woman more attractive?

Sure there are. I am not a man, but I’ve had short (chin-length) hair before, and had no trouble getting dates or compliments with it.

Not many, I actually read that men prefer women with longer hair since that made them look mess manly even my dad told me that a lot when i was a kid. Which is kind of weird since he is dating a woman with short hair for almost 3 years lol.

Also a woman who dates women here, I prefer shorter hair on women. Ironically, all the women I’ve actually dated had pretty long hair (at least shoulder-length).

My hair had been above my shoulders or shorter for a few years now, and I very recently cut it into a much shorter cut (a lot like this). I’ve gotten a lot of positive comments! And I guess I’m not really looking to attract men anyway. :)

short hair is cool with me. you can get right to that nape of the neck to caress or grab during lovemaking. short hair can be sexy.

I hate hair, I love to go to the salon and have them use the clippers on my head. Whenever I do it, my husband becomes deeply saddened. I can’t have long hair though, no matter how much he loves it. He has accepted it and come to love when my short hair is a little big grown out for the type of grabbing that @charliecompany34 is speaking of.

I dont mind short hair at all; but I love the weight and cool feel of long hair laying on me.

I think the vast majority of guys prefer long hair. Because it’s a very feminine trait. I think it sort of symbolizes femininity, maybe fertility subconsciously so they just like the way it looks. Who knows. But I think short hair looks great on some women, even shaved heads :D

I can speak to the “homosexual” questions being raised if you are a woman with short hair…when I was in HS with short hair (Halle Berry-short), I would get the question very often: Are you a lesbian?

(I had short hair because it was super easy to take care of and dye wacky colors.)

It was annoying to me, because as soon as I started growing my hair out, the questions stopped.

If that’s the only way a person can identify a gay woman, they need to have their gaydar checked. :D

Although I am mostly not attracted to women, if I was, it would probably be to a woman with gorgeous, long-ish hair…shooting down any assumptions people have. Take that, “everybody”!
