For Berlusconi, he had it coming. I don’t feel particularly sorry for the guy. I am actually surprised it doesn’t happen to him more often.

@kitiara He owns and controls big parts of the media in Italy which are used to promote him as well as dodge and cover up his controversies, publically states racist opinions, has been in and out of court for corruption, changed legislation to gave himself immunity. He also pisses the rest of Europe off by slightly insane out of context statements, uses prostitutes and shares girls with other politicians in caligulan parties. One can only hope his wife has fun of her own. Anyhow. I guess in a democracy one deserves ones leaders.

Other than that, he is a deary.

Silvio Berlusconi has long been controversial. He is currently undergoing divorce after several affairs and reports of liaisons with prostitutes. There have been rallies over conflict of interest and tax problems. link

He has also been known for gaffes such as saying that homeless earthquake victims should look at it as a “weekend of camping”. link
