No. The chances are really very low. But they might increase.
Why is this important to you?
Anime is animated Manga. That’s all Japanese. I am sure they make cartoons in China, but it’s not Anime. They are Chinese cartoons. Why would you think it would be Chinese?
Chances are…...................... not likely.
Chinese animation (simplified Chinese: 华人制动画; traditional Chinese: 華人製動畫; pinyin: Huárénzhì dònghuà) or Manhua Anime, in narrow sense, refers to animations that are made in China.
I was going to say that anime is strictly Japanese, which is what I thought…after looking it up, I’m not so sure. Thanks. :-)
@Jade Oh? That was interesting. There are Manga and Anime series made in other parts of the world, but I was totally sure it originated in Japan. Do you have any links?
No anime refers only to Japanese animation. Even if the animation resembles that of anime it isn’t anime unless it’s Japanese. Unless you mean do Japanese people animate like manwha then I think the answer is yes. Manwha is basically Korean manga and I do believe they have animate some before. However I am not sure. Sorry that wasn’t very helpful.
