Would you find it creepy if your SO suggested perfume their ex wore?

Its just a smell, nothing creepy about that in my opinion.

That’s definitely wrong. But then again, I tend to associate people/things strongly by their scents. Others may not.

Perfumes/aftershave smells differently on each person due to their body chemistry.

I simply wont like the idea. I simply wont buy this perfume.

@RubyReds i wouldn’t either. And im not a jealous guy, but why would you want something that reminds you of someone else. Bizarre.

If their reason is simply because they like that particular cologne/perfume that’s fine, but if it’s because it reminds them of that ex then that’s very uncalled for.

It’s probably only because they just like that scent in general. If they didn’t think anything more than that about it… that’s why they wouldn’t tell you that their ex wore it.

Your SO wanting you do smell, or dress or do anything like their past relationship is not creepy as much as it is tragic.

I don’t think it’s creepy. There’s certain cologne’s I like, and I make those suggestions to my husband..we have completely different taste in which cologne smells we like.
I wouldn’t want him to smell like an ex, I just enjoy certain smells.

I don’t think I’d like it, but I’m like @peedub in the sense that I also associate people or certain memories with smells and fragrances. I don’t want to remind my boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend by wearing her fragrance.
