Would you find it creepy if your SO suggested perfume their ex wore?

Your girlfriend/boyfriend/partner suggested to you that you buy a perfume/cologne that their ex use to wear is this creepy, weird, normal? Even more so if they didn’t tell you their ex wore it?

Happened to a friend of mine and i thought it was creepy as shit.
